FAQ’s

Did You Know the pH for Your Tears Is 7.6 ?

The least corrosive water has a PH of 7.0 which is the standard for a neutral solution. Go below 7.0 and your water becomes acidic. Go above 7.0 and your water becomes alkaline. Conditions above and below both require treatment to bring the water back with a range of 7.2-7.6 unless, in rare instances, your pool equipment requires a PH of 7.0

Do You Know What Can Cause a Pool to Pop out of the Ground?

Hydrostatic Pressure. To demonstrate, fill your sink with water, take an empty glass and try to submerge the glass. As you're pushing down the glass, take notice of the force pushing against your hand causing to glass to resist. The force, A.K.A. Hydrostatic Pressure, will cause the glass rise up. Pools that are most prone to this condition are generally located in an area where the water table is high or fluctuates depending on the amount of rainfall. Be sure to ask a local pool pro about your risk before draining your pool.

Did You Know a Salt Pool Is Still a Chlorine Pool?

Salt Pools make their own chlorine as long as the equipment and salt level are maintained properly. Please refer to your manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule as each can be slightly different.
